University of Chicago Philosophy Graduate Teaching Award
The Department of Philosophy invites undergraduate students to submit nominations of graduate student teachers (Lecturer and CA positions) for the Department of Philosophy annual Graduate Teaching Award.
The award covers a graduate student's entire teaching career here, and not just their teaching in the academic year of the nomination.
In addition to being a concrete recognition of pedagogical brilliance, the Graduate Teaching Award offers a substantial addition to a graduate student's academic CV.
Any UChicago undergraduate may nominate any graduate student in the Department of Philosophy. You may nominate more than one graduate student, though you must nominate them separately.
Winners will be announced in Autumn quarter.
